ELPLA 14.3 Enhancements

1 - Fixing grid intervals

When converting references to a grid using the “Cartesian Grid” Option, very small distances may sometimes occur between references along a vertical or horizontal grid line. This can result in unreasonably small grid intervals (e.g., 10 cm). In the analysis, such small elements may cause numerical difficulties.

To address this, ELPLA automatically merges reference positions located close to a grid line into the same line. The merging is based on the minimum distance between nodes, which can be specified in the References form under the “Setting” Option.

Before merging, ELPLA displays a message prompting you to confirm whether the close intervals should be merged.

Now, ELPLA will merge the reference positions around the grid line automatically to be in the same grid line according to the minimum distance between nodes, which is defined in the Reference form, through the “Setting” Option, see.
