Beam Foundations after Kany and El Gendy by GEOTools

GEO Tools in ELPLA package (ELastic PLAte) is a program for analyzing different problems in geotechnical engineering. One of them is analyzing beam on elastic foundation after Kany and El Gendy with the real subsoil model. The program can analyze different types of subsoil models, especially continuum model that considers any number of irregular layers in the vertical directions. Three known subsoil models for the analysis of beam on elastic foundation (standard models) are considered. The subsoil models are Simple Assumption Model, Winkler Model and Continuum Model. In the analysis, the beam and the subsoil are treated as one unit. In addition, the beam can be considered as an elastic, a rigid or a flexible beam.
