Elastic Embedded Single Pile by GEO Tools

GEO Tools in ELPLA package (ELastic PLAte) is a program for analyzing different problems in geotechnical engineering. One of them is the analysis of the elastic embedded piles in stratified soil. The analysis of the pile based on the German recommendations on piling (EA-Pfähle). Methods of the structure analysis of the pile are:

1. Finite Element Method
2. Finite Difference Method

Two options for determining modulus of subgrade reaction are available:

1. Modulus is defined by the user
2. Modulus is calculated according to Bowels (1997)

The modulus of the subgrade reaction can be modified by iteration. Concrete design of the pile according to EC 2, DIN 1045 and ECP
