Workshop
Analysis of Piled Rafts by the Program ELPLA
at the University of Siegen on Thursday, 06 October 2016
Everyone is welcome to attend our workshop: "Analysis of piled rafts by the program ELPLA"
Information about the event:
Speaker: Prof. Dr.-Ing. El Gendy, visiting professor of our university partners Port Said, Egypt.
Meeting: Thursday, 6 October 2016, at 09.00 am
Location: Siegen University - Department of Civil Engineering - Geotechnical Institute
Room: PB A 120/2 (PC-Pool)
Cost: Free
Language: German
Prof. El Gendy, together with the father of elastic rafts (Prof. Kany), had developed analysis of rafts and further piled rafts in the program ELPLA. ELPLA can use to analyze rafts and piled rafts of arbitrary shape with subsoil stratification and variable stiffness by different calculations methods. Therefore, it is considered as the most widely used program.
The objectives of this workshop are that participants can analyze piled rafts and distinguish between different calculation methods of piled rafts.
Interested persons in this event can register in the Institute of Geotechnical Engineering, Siegen University at: olaf.bublitz <@> uni-siegen.de or geotec <@> geotecsoftware.com
